Wet Basements

Should be completed when you have dampness, discoloration or water at the floor line or seeping through cracks in the floor.

• Cover foot traffic and other necessary areas to protect your home
• Remove concrete floor next to wall
• Drain water out of the wall
• Steer to new drain tile
• Cover with stones & replace floor where removed
• New sump crock, new pump and plumbing where necessary or required by code

This is performed when there is water leakage through the wall above the floor line.

• Exterior machine and foot traffic areas will be protected
• Remove soil next to foundation down to footings
• Tar and place plastic over tar on outside wall
• Flush bleeder tile and new drain tile will be installed
• Backfill wall with washed stones and cover with landscape fabric
• Landscape fabric will be topped with brown topsoil and pitched away from foundation
