Bayer & Bayer Inc. is a local and family owned business. Jim's dad, Ralph, started Bayer & Bayer, Inc. in 1956. Ralph's grandfather, Gustav was a builder and bricklayer in Germany. Gustav taught his son, Otto, the trade. Otto immigrated to the United States and started his own business. Ralph was taught the trade by his uncle Otto. Ralph passed on his knowledge to his three sons. Today, Ralph's son, Jim, and Jim's son, Max, continue the tradition making Max the 5th generation.
